Amarillo by Mornin...

Actually, it's Lubbock by night. Saturday night! Holy cow, kids. Do you know I haven't been to Lubbock in almost 2 years? What's up with that?! Well, it's high time we remedy that so...ready or not, here I come!

Here's why I'm going:

These are my 2 best girl friends in the whole world: Heather and Mandy. Aren't they pretty?! =) They are (ever so cruelly and yet wonderfully), getting married within 24 hours of each other. And I'm in both weddings. Goo?! You betcha. But I love it. I'm thrilled beyond belief actually.

Plus, since they are so graciously getting married in Lubbock, I get these extra-added perks along the way:

Hurray!!!

If you wanna be added to that list, I've got about 5 minutes left open in my schedule. Get with me soon!

In Other News...

Well, in case you're wondering, Austin and I are still doing wonderfully. We had a great trip down to his hometown last week where I met his mother and the youngest sister. I ended up getting a little more than I bargained for when a few uncles showed up with their families. They tried to give me a hard time but understimated my ability to handle inappropriateness of extended family (I am half McNutt afterall). Haha!

Anyway, his family rocks. I'm especially excited by the addition of 2 younger sisters that I'm getting. Katie and Micah are 18 and 21 and are just plain awesome. And he's such a great big brother. He's very protective of them which sometimes bleeds over into me. I love that. =)

Anyway, so we're doing very well. Things are so simple with him. I'm in a constant state of relaxation when he's around that I seriously needed in my life. It's wonderful.

Other than that, I'm doing quite a bit these days. Busy but exciting times:

I got a raise this morning at work after my 6-month eval that went very well and still think I have the world's greatest job (though I'm getting increasingly more jealous of Cara's life with each passing day). =)

Austin has also thankfully taken on the tideous task of searching for a new church home with me. And that's the first time I've made that information public. I am somewhat sad to leave CABB but also quite relieved. Your heart can only take so much sometimes. But, luckily, the ones that know me well understand my need and I have managed very minimal friend loss through the oreal. I am very grateful for that. I am excited to find a new family and begin my work once again the way I believe my Father would want me too. It has also been quite the blessing in my relationship with Austin and, I believe, is one of the reasons things are going so well. I'm more than thrilled to have a boyfriend who shares my interest in the church and the Lord.

Jason is gone back to Lubbock to pursue a Master's degree at Tech and, though I am sad to have him so far away, have already noticed that we talk more than we did when he was here. I am blessed to have such inspiring little brothers. Last I checked however, things were a little more difficult on Jason than he orginally planned. Prayers for a sucessful school year for him would be greatly appreciated.

Um...well I think that about covers all the basics. To sum up: Life is good. Life is really good. My one concern is a significantly moth-filled bank account but that's becoming quite the normal occurance in my life and, therefore, simply doesn't affect me as much as it used to. Which is probably not a good sign but whatever. =)

I hope all my trustly blog readers are well and happy and feel as blessed as I do. Love you all!
